Thank you for your time to review Joy and Grace Yoga's policies.

All clients participating in any program with Joy and Grace Yoga, including in person, online, group and private sessions are subject to these policies.

At Joy and Grace Yoga, I believe you are a capable adult, and able to be responsible for your own schedule, time management and money. Therefore, if we are going to work together, I expect that you will keep track of your own appointments (and zoom links where applicable), arrive on time, give sufficient notice for any schedule conflicts, complete all forms as required, and manage payments appropriately.

All Group Classes and Workshops -
in person and online

-Respect the time of your fellow students and the teacher, please be on time.

- Arrive for all classes at least at least 5 minutes prior to start of class. This helps everyone be ready to start on time.

-Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate in that class, depending how late you are.

- Missed classes or late arrivals may not be made up.

- Participants are expected to stay for the full duration of all classes. Leaving early is not permitted.

-All participants will be required to complete a medical questionnaire and liability waiver prior to start of any class.

You will not be permitted to join classes if these are not complete.

-Anyone with a history of organ transplant and on immunosupresants may not participate in programs with Joy and Grace Yoga.  Anyone who is pregnant at the time of any class may not participate in programs with Joy and Grace Yoga unless they have been practicing Svaroopa(R) Yoga for at least 6 months.

- If you have a time conflict or other issue getting to class, text Joy and Grace Yoga as soon as possible.

-Payment is expected at time of service. If you are purchasing a group of classes, time of service is the first class in the group.

-Some workshops and specialty series require pre-registration. Payment and registration deadlines will be given with workshop information.

-If you are ill: you may not come to class if you have a fever, significant cough, stomach bug, the flu, covid, weeping poison ivy, active eye infection, or other easily communicable disease. If you are just a bit under the weather or have a simple head cold you may still come to class, and you will likely feel better. I may ask you to wear a mask though for a cold.

Online Classes and Private Sessions:

-For online courses, you will need to be comfortable using zoom.

-The Zoom link will be emailed to all participants within 24 hours prior to start of class.

- Please move this email to a separate folder in your inbox where you can easily find it. The link will not be sent out again.

- For courses that are longer than one day, the same zoom link will be used for each class. Participants are responsible for keeping

track of their links.

Video and audio during online courses:

- Upon joining the zoom meeting you will be asked to give permission to be unmuted.

- Paricipants will be muted most of the class, but the teacher may need to unmute at times to give individualized support or ask questions of the group.

- The teacher will let participants know when they are being unmuted.

-Your video must remain on for the entire class.

Physical space during online courses:

- You will need a dedicated space in your home that is big enough to lie down in and clear of obstacles.

- Other people may not be in the room with you during class.

- All electronics should be off including TV, radio, phone, watches, etc.

- Pets may not be in the room with you during class, as they are very distracting to you, other participants, and the teacher.

Please plan accordingly.
